Our Summer Program follows a slightly different format than our regular program. Each week revolves around a different theme (ie: ocean, jungle, cooking, sports, etc.). For example: During Ocean Week we may learn about ocean animals, create an ocean in a bottle, paint using seashells, look at starfish using a magnifying glass, make sandcastles in the sandbox and sing songs about water. We are typically very silly throughout the school year, but during the Summer we try to create an even more fun environment for the students.

We take full advantage of the warmth and sunshine! Everyday the children will come dressed in their swimsuits and water shoes (with sunscreen already applied). Most of the morning will be spent playing in the sprinklers and/or at the water tables. They will change into dry clothes for the rest of the day. Our classrooms are set up with the same learning centers as normal: blocks, dramatic play, tabletop toys, art, library, science & discovery, and music. Special Events such as a Magician and Petting Zoo add to our Summer fun!
